Hello International Students!
For the 2025 Fall Semester the international student dormitory will open for reservation for self-funded students from 10:00, August 1, 2025 to 10:00, August 22, 2025(Beijing Time). Only the students who have successfully reserved can go to the dormitory to check in. The earliest check-in date is from 00:00 August 22, 2025. If you arrive early, you need to arrange your own accommodation before August 22. Please arrange your itinerary in advance.
The self- funded students who need to stay in the dormitory should log in to http://istudy.nju.edu.cn or https://nju.17gz.org/ to make a reservation. The account and password are the ones used for online application.
Please note the following:
1. Scholarship students ( including the CSC and ICLTS students) do not need to make a reservation. Please check in directly at the dormitory of the campus to which the department belongs. The earliest check-in date for scholarship students is from 00:00 August 25, 2025. If you arrive early, you need to arrange your own accommodation before August 25. Please arrange your itinerary in advance.
2. Self-funded students need to make a reservation in advance. As long as you can submit a reservation on the official website, it means that the reservation is successful, and you can check in to the dormitory on the specified date after the reservation is successful. If you can't reserve, it means that you don't have a room and you need to arrange your own accommodation.
3. Nanjing university has two campuses in Nanjing.
(1) Students studying in Gulou Campus: language students, undergraduate freshmen of all institutes, undergraduate students of Chinese language major of Institute for International Students, Physics Institute, Engineering Management Institute, Software Institute, Architecture and Urban Planning Institute, Business Institute, Medicine Institute, Art Institute, Law Institute, Master of Institute for International Students, Master of Intelligent Software and Engineering Institute, master's and doctoral students of Mathematics Institute.
(2) Students studying in Xianlin Campus: Students other than the types of students mentioned above.
Please choose your accommodation according to the campus where you attend classes. Check with your department if you are unsure of the campus and grade where your department located.

4. Due to the shortage of dormitory, new self-financed students will not be guaranteed to be able to reserve the student dormitory. Some students choose Gunandu Yixian Mansion (Nanjing Yunnan Road Subway Station Branch) as a transitional hotel after entry. Address: 160 Shanghai Road; Tel: 86-25-85202626. Before and after entry,please learn about the housing near the campus in advance through the rental app, and go through the rental procedures after coming to Nanjing. For rental information, please refer to the following apps：安居客、贝壳租房、自如、我爱我家. There is plenty of rental housing near the campuses.
5. Fees for Dormitories on Both Campuses
Accommodation fee in Xianlin Campus: 3000 RMB/semester/bed.
Accommodation fee of Gulou International Student Apartment: double room 52 yuan/day/bed; Single room 67 yuan/day.
Accommodation fees are to be paid by credit card, WeChat or Alipay. The deposit must be paid in cash.
Reminder:
There’re no mettresses, pillows or other bedding in Xianlin campus dormitory. You need to prepare on your own.
There’re mattresses in Gulou campus dormitory, but there’re no pillows or other bedding. You need prepare on your own.
